In passato ero quotidianamente coinvolta in relazioni professionali d’aiuto dove l’ ascolto, insieme all’osservazione, erano gli strumenti chiave del mio lavoro.
Anche oggi l’ascolto è parte essenziale della scrittura e se non avessi allenato questa capacità dubito che riuscirei a tradurre in parole sia le mie emozioni che quelle di chi si fida di me.
Ascoltare si coniuga con Amare, con la capacità di impiegare il proprio tempo per marito, figlie, genitori, amici, ambiente, stagioni, suoni, passioni, se stessi…
Ascoltare significa prestare attenzione e offrire attenzione, per raccogliere, dare forma e trasmettere un messaggio, non arido, che arrivi al cuore veicolato da emozioni e parole gentili.
Ascoltare, leggere e scrivere sono azioni intrecciate che mi riempiono di energia e rendono ogni giorno la vita degna di essere vissuta.
Durante le lunghe camminate quotidiane in solitudine ho trovato un modo molto comodo per ascoltare: la radio.
Ascoltare storie, come dice il giornalista Matteo Caccia su Radio 24, “resta il modo migliore per conoscere il mondo”.

Listening and reading for writing
In the past, I was involved on a daily basis, in professional helping relationships where listening and observation were the key tools of my work.
Even today, listening is an essential part of writing and if I had not developed this skill, I doubt that I would be able to put into words both my own emotions and the ones of people who trust me.
Listening is combined with Love, with the ability to spend one’s time on husband, daughters, parents, friends, environment, seasons, sounds, passions, oneself…
Listening means paying attention and offering attention, in order to collect, shape and convey a non-arid message that reaches the heart carried by emotions and kind words.
Listening, reading and writing are intertwined actions that fill me with energy and make everyday life worth living.
During the long daily walks in solitude I have found a very convenient way of listening: the radio.
Listening to stories, as journalist Matteo Caccia says on Radio 24, “remains the best way to learn about the world”.
